Sport Cord Exercises
Want a workout but dread the idea of having to haul up lifts? Sport cord exercises may be
the best exercise you are looking for.
Sport cord exercise provides a flexibility of doing exercise without the use of heavy weights. This type of
exercise only involves a flexible cord that is made of rubber. It lets you extend your muscles to heights that
would reach its limit. No heavy, iron-clad equipment that could damage your bones if dropped accidentally. Sport
cord uses only rubber and strong nylon, which means the material is just so light, you can bring it anywhere you
want to go. You may just put it in your bags without contributing any additional weight to your baggage.
You may use the cord for any position you want to make. It offers great flexibility for the user. It can be used
in toning the legs, the arms or even the upper torso of the body. If you want to exercise your legs, you may put it
under your feet and do a cycling movement. You may do it anywhere you want to. You can do that exercise even while
sitting on the dining chair, the couch, or even the side of your bed. Sport cord exercises can also be done to help
tone your arms. If you want to work out your arms, you can position the cord behind your back, slightly above the
shoulders and start stretching your arms sideways. You can also do the stretching using the forward-backward
movement. To do that, just put the cord behind the shoulder blades and raise the arms forward. One other thing you
can do with the cord to exercise your arm is by stretching the cord in front of the chest, going sideways with the
arms going to opposite directions.
In exercising the body using the sports cord, you may try wrapping the cord around the body and start walking to
a direction until the cord has reached its stretch limit and you can no longer move further. You can also reverse
the direction, and instead of walking forward, you may also try walking backwards. In this case, the cord must be
tied or held in the opposite direction. One other exercise that would help improve the balance of the body is by
doing what experts call the sports cord squats. In this exercise, the cord is wrapped around the body. The other
end of the cord may be tied to a post or held by another person. The arms must then be placed behind the head, and
start doing the squats. The squats, in this exercise is like doing the sit ups. Repeat for a number of times. You
may try to do this regularly at a schedule you are comfortable with.
Sport cords are manufactured specifically for exercising. They are designed in a way that it could give
versatility and comfort to the user. They are also made of safe and hypo-allergenic materials that would surely
make people who are sensitive to latex smile with relief.
